V12 Power and Performance
The first V12 powerhead in the outboard motor segment delivers superior horsepower and performance in a surprisingly compact space. The combination of a rotatable gearbox and simple, modern equipment allows the engine to be mounted on 27-inch centers, enabling boat owners to mount as much power as they want on the transom.
Automatic Two-Speed Transmission
Two fast transmissions make it easy to transfer 600 hp to the gearbox. It distributes maximum torque and acceleration efficiently to first gear, then quietly shifts to second gear for efficient cruising and breathtaking top speed. No gear changes. No restrictions. Just smooth, impressive power.
Independent, Reversible Gearbox

Counter-rotating propellers
The new twin propeller series is expertly designed to utilize the full potential of 600 hp. Designed to operate during counter-rotation, the new propellers provide fast and efficient support for the boat while on the water. At the same time, they provide exceptional handling and fuel economy at medium speeds.

The new, more robust and refined Advanced Mid-Section (AMS) mounting system isolates noise and vibration by holding the powerhead in place, while meticulous adjustments reduce induction noise and virtually eliminate injection noise. 600hp has never been so quiet.
